چکیده :
The modulation of immune function through exercise has emerged as a significant factor in cancer risk reduction and tumor suppression. This review explores the mechanisms by which acute and chronic physical activity influences the innate and adaptive immune responses, particularly focusing on the mobilization and activation of immune cells such as natural killer (NK) cells, cytotoxic T cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells. Evidence suggests that exercise enhances the circulation of these immune components, promoting their tumor-suppressive roles while concurrently reducing immunosuppressive factors within the tumor microenvironment. We discuss the dual effects of exercise intensity, highlighting that moderate exercise enhances immune responses, whereas excessive training may lead to immune suppression. Additionally, we examine the physiological changes induced by exercise, including alterations in cytokine profiles and metabolic byproducts, which further influence immune cell functionality and tumor immunogenicity. The implications of these findings underscore the potential of incorporating structured exercise regimens into cancer prevention strategies and therapeutic interventions, aiming to optimize immune responses and improve patient outcomes. Future research directions are suggested to better understand the interplay between exercise, immune modulation, and cancer biology, paving the way for novel integrative approaches in oncology
