Cancer prevention management is one of the serious challenges in health policy in society. The rapid growth of this disease in the global community and in Iran is a warning sign to promptly prioritize cancer prevention methods and reduce the acceleration of this lethal disease. The influential factors in the growth of this disease have diverse dimensions, and various approaches in various specialized fields should be considered in cancer prevention. Many non-medical fields such as nutrition, agriculture, sports science, engineering, statistics and probability, psychology, economics, etc., can play a significant role in cancer prevention studies.

Mehraneh Charity Association has conducted extensive activities related to the treatment of cancer patients since 2007. With a special strategy, this association has now transformed into one of the most powerful and well-known charitable institutions in Iran, providing extensive services to support cancer patients and combat this disease. In recent years, the association has had a special focus on activities related to cancer prevention and public education. In line with the development of these activities and the deployment of scientific capacities to achieve various goals in cancer prevention, a mutual agreement was signed between Mehraaneh and the University of Zanjan in 2023, and extensive activities began in this regard.

In this regard, University of Zanjan, with the cooperation of the Mehraneh Charity Association and relying on specialists in various fields (non-medical), and considering its social mission, has planned the “1st International Congress on Cancer Prevention” with a scientific and promotional approach, seeking the assistance of the Almighty God and the support of supporting organizations. The aim of the congress is to present and exchange innovative cancer prevention solutions with the participation of professors and experts in different disciplines. Additionally, educational workshops and some speeches will be held for the participants, and side exhibitions will be organized to introduce the activities of various organizations, institutions, and companies.

For this purpose, all officials, experts, and dear students are invited to submit their latest research results to this congress and contribute as much as possible in order to take a step forward in achieving the congress’s goals.
